It's 2008 and we're back in Berlin after a long stint on the road. We are working on the website to keep you up-to-date and informed of our antics here at home and abroad. We have a lot in store for you this year, folks, so stay tuned and keep touching that dial!
We have added some new videos to the site, and created a MDCBerlin Youtube channel stocked with visual goodies where you can even comment or complain (yeah right, like we read that shit). More to follow soon!
We are now collaborating with King Hazan and the stupifyingly funtastic Haferflocken Swingers to do regular shows here in Berlin. In the line-up next we have:
10.05.08
Location: KATO
KING HAZAN'S VOODOO CIRQUS
@ 9pm we will start the night with some video madness. Then we will all swing into the evening to the tunes of Berlin's
Budzillus und die Antikörper
followed by the legendary
Haferflocken Swingers
Live video mixing throughout the evening and DJ tunes from MDC's own Lynch Merrill and Captain Dada.

Media Decompression is the basic
component of an unrestrictive creative media resource. It is the
substratum of 'sharing'. A FYI, DIY database intended to provide
awareness and accessibility to rare, lifelike media artifacts; Independent
media and an unlimited amount of formative links. All artist, film
makers, musicians, hackers, inventors and provocateurs of information
are invited to participate within the collective.
Media Decompression is a non-profit, non-commercial organization questioning
all philosophies and concepts of information before accepting them
into our lives. It is more than just a film festival, sharing parade
or spectator event. The collective is part of an international media
network originating from the basic need for people to express themselves
artistically.
Media Decompression has regular theme based events in which the viewer
is also invited to participate by bringing their own theme related
media (compatible with any digital, non-cassette format). Check our
online Program for dates, locations and themes. Due to a high volume
of media, we recommend short films, music videos and independent work.
